Toyota is introducing Swedish drivers to a new chapter in electric mobility—a stylish, fully electric wagon designed with families in mind. The automaker has announced Swedish pricing for the bZ4X Touring, a wagon-style variant of its popular electric SUV. Deliveries begin in May, with prices starting at 569,900 kronor.
The bZ4X Touring isn’t entirely new; it’s an evolution of the existing bZ4X SUV. Toyota has extended the body, refined the proportions, and reshaped it into a wagon to provide more space and sophistication. It maintains the same futuristic styling but offers an interior layout better suited to long journeys, larger families, and added luggage.
The base model comes with front-wheel drive and a 74.7 kWh battery, producing 224 horsepower. It offers an impressive estimated range of up to 575 kilometers on a single charge—enough to satisfy many Swedish commuters and travelers.
For drivers seeking more capability, the all-wheel-drive version adds a second electric motor, boosting power output to 380 horsepower. Of course, that increase in performance comes at a higher starting price of 607,900 kronor. The top-tier Executive trim sits above both, priced at 660,900 kronor.
Practicality is where the Touring shines. Toyota has expanded cargo capacity from 452 to 669 liters—approximately a 33% increase. That improvement ensures plenty of room for suitcases, sports gear, or even a full IKEA load. In addition, the all-wheel-drive versions can tow up to 1.5 tons, confirming their utility for everyday tasks or weekend getaways.
Toyota has confirmed that deliveries in Sweden begin in May 2025, with pre-orders currently open through the company’s Swedish website. Customers who place early orders will have the first opportunity to get behind the wheel of this spacious EV wagon.
